meet the models... amanda xo

we celebrated our summer collection 'forever in blue' and all of the fabulous women who wear our frocks, with a little soiree in our paddington store.

we thought we'd introduce you to some of our most fabulous maiocchi ladies, who took to the catwalk as our super models for the day.

we really are very lucky to be dressing some of the most clever, fabulous and fun ladies in all of the land, and we knew you'd want to get all the goss on these maiocchi mavens.

meet amanda...
amanda is a a lover of all things pr, marketing & social media at the amazing brisbane company made4media. she has a little fur baby – ‘frankinfurter’ the mini sausage dog! Amanda collects sunglasses, and still has her very first pair of gucci sunglasses she bought with her first pay cheque when she was 14, much to her parent's dismay. she loves all things social and digital media, buying print fashion magazines still and reading them from front to back and espresso coffee... no milk!

when did you buy your first maiocchi dress?
bec (also a maiocchi supermodel) introduced me to maiocchi 7 years ago when i started working at made4media, she was obsessed and it wasn't long before i then started going along to the season launches with her and purchasing small pieces to start and now I buy multiple.

describe yourself in 3 words…
larger. than. life.

which is your fave dress from the ‘forever in blue collection?
the wide blue yonder dress in indigo! the material is so soft and stretchy! It’s perfect and so forgiving for all the bits i need to be covered, especially when having an afternoon of wine and cheese!

what’s the best place or occasion you have worn a maiocchi dress?
lunch with elle mcpherson

what would you like to see maiocchi feature on their upcoming prints?
i own a sausage dog, so I would LOVE to see a print of a little sausage dog. australian natives done with watercolour or i also love words in cool typefont! also something brisbane related would be cool or tribute to australian cities.
