We want you to love what you ordered. If you don't, here's what to do.

Most things are straightforward. Read through below and if you still have questions, we're easy to reach.


Return types at a glance

What can you return, and what do you get back?

Full-price items

Refund, exchange or credit

You have 14 days from when you receive your order. Full-price items can be returned for a full refund (excluding shipping), an exchange where the size or style is available, or an online store credit valid for three years.

Sale & promotional items

Exchange or credit only

You have 7 days from when you receive your order. Sale and promotional items can be returned for an exchange where stock is available, or an online store credit valid for three years. No refunds on sale items

Afterpay orders

Exchange or credit only

Items paid via Afterpay cannot be refunded. You can return for an exchange where stock is available, or receive an online store credit valid for three years. No refunds on Afterpay

Return conditions

Everything we ask of returned items.

We inspect every return carefully, so please make sure items come back to us in the same condition they left. If something arrives back worn or without tags, we won't be able to process it.

During sale periods, returns may take up to ten business days to process once we receive your parcel. We'll be in touch once it's done.

For health reasons, we can't accept earring returns unless there's a genuine manufacturing fault.

Unworn and unwashed - items must not have been worn, washed, or used in any way

Original condition - all labels and tags must still be attached

Within the return window - 14 days for full-price items, 7 days for sale items, from the day you received your parcel

No earring returns - for hygiene reasons, earrings can only be returned if they have a genuine manufacturing fault

Faulty items - if something arrives damaged or defective, email us at e-boutique@maiocchi.com.au and we'll sort it out

The Bamboo Slip Dress, gifted with orders of $350 or more.

Free bamboo slip - important

If you return part of your order, your free gift may need to come back too.

If your order included a free Bamboo Slip Dress and you return items that bring your remaining order total below $350, the free gift must be returned as well.

If it isn't returned, the full retail value of $79.95 will be deducted from your refund or credit. The gift must come back in unworn, unwashed, original condition with tags attached - within the same 14-day return window.

How to return

You can send your return through the post or at our Brisbane city store. We don't cover return shipping costs, but we do recommend sending via Australia Post with tracking - we can't take responsibility for parcels that go missing on the way back to us.

Download the returns form

Print and complete our returns form. Include it inside your parcel so we can process your return quickly.

Pack and post

Send your item(s) via Australia Post with tracking. Return postage is at your cost. Post to:

We'll take it from here

Once we receive your parcel, we'll process your return and issue your refund, exchange, or credit. During busy sale periods, allow up to ten business days from receipt.

In Brisbane? You're welcome to return to our Brisbane Arcade store - though our in-store team will pass it to the online team to process, so it won't be immediate.

Exchanges

Need a different size? Here's how it works.

Because our runs are small, stock moves fast, so if you need a different size we recommend acting quickly.

Subject to availability

Exchanges are processed based on what's in stock at the time we receive your return. If your size isn't available, you'll receive a refund or store credit instead - depending on whether the item was full price or sale.

Shipping on exchanges

There's a $15 shipping fee to send an exchange back to you. We'll send an invoice once your return is received and processed - your exchange ships once that's paid.

Item values and pricing

The value of a returned item is what you paid, as shown on your invoice. If you're exchanging for a different style, it'll be priced at whatever it's listed at online when we process your return. We can't apply old discounts or past sale pricing.

Our in-store returns policy is slightly different to online. Here's what you need to know.

Change of mind

Exchanges and credits

We don't offer refunds for in-store purchases if you've changed your mind or made the wrong choice. But we're happy to exchange your item or offer a store credit within 14 days, as long as it comes back unworn, unwashed, and with the tags still on.

Faulty items

Refund, exchange or credit

If something is genuinely faulty, you can choose between a refund, an exchange, or a store credit. Just bring the item back to us in store or get in touch via email and we'll sort it out for you.
