The Story of Maiocchi:
Once upon a time... well, actually in 2001, the search for the perfect dress turned into a labor of love for our designer Deanne Mayocchi. Frustrated that she couldn't find the fun and fabulous frocks she wanted to wear, Deanne put her design expertise into action, got all creative and soon after, Maiocchi the fashion label was born.
Women from all over the land of Oz were suddenly aflutter for the fabulous styles of Maiocchi's frocks and word spread quickly about their charming prints and quirky little details.
Maiocchi feel very lucky to be dressing some of the most clever and fabulous ladies in all of the land, who like to celebrate colour, dress up and have a little fun with their fashion!
Maiocchi Philosophy:
If we could wave a magic wand, it would be our greatest wish for ladies from all over the land to feel utterly fabulous in our dresses.
At the heart of what we do, we design gorgeous garments for women that are incredibly flattering and make them feel oh-so special. Deanne finds inspiration from an eclectic mix of mediums including her passion for travel, her love of vintage curiosities, and her fascination of traditional craft techniques from the east.
Often simple in their cut, Maiocchi garments are personalized with precious little handmade details, quirky touches and delightful textures and trims. By twisting nostalgic silhouettes into fresh modern garments, our focus is always on fabulous fits, exceptional quality and our close attention to detail. The result is a charming and eclectic label that is instantly recognizable and has become a mecca for ladies who have a fondness for service with a smile and expect quality that is second to none.
Maiocchi is an Australian owned company and all of our garments are designed with affection right here in Brisbane, Australia. and nothing makes us giddier than sending a Maiocchi frock skipping down the street with its loving new owner to live happily ever after…
