Our Paper Dolls Collection xo

Oh hi there mavens, it’s Dee here,

I just wanted to tell you a little bit about the inspo behind our upcoming ‘Paper Dolls' collection.

Playing dress ups with paper dolls was one of my favourite things to do as a little girl...

...and playing dress ups in my own wardrobe is still one of my favourite things to do as a grown up!

For our latest collection ‘Paper Dolls’ I have combined all of my favourite things into one fabulous little collection… Our gorgeous paper doll print, delicate oriental florals and vintage gingham.

The is my dream print, the idea for a paper doll print has been on my mood board for about 10 years, but I wasn't sure it was quite 'Maiocchi' enough. Then one morning at 2am, I thought 'why not make the paper dolls wear kimonos?'

I think it looks just gorgeous, and so very 'Maiocchi' It's cute, colourful, fun and a sure conversation starter. I am very excited about this print, and I hope you will love it too.

I know you all have your favourite Maiocchi styles, and I have tried my best to make sure we have something for everyone in this collection. From our beautiful bamboo jersey styles, to our simple little a line skirt and reversible tops to our flattering fit and flare dress shape that you can wear with ease and effortlessness.

Now I don't like to pick favourites, but if I must, I would say the Lulu (pictured) is my favourite dress in this collection. It's so easy to throw on and comfortable to wear. I have already worn it numerous times to test it out for you all and make sure it is perfectly perfect in every way!

I hope you will find joy in dressing up in our 'Paper Dolls' collection, twirling and taking time out to dream.

This collection has been cut in very limited quantities. When I had to decide how many to make, it was right when we went into lockdown, so I felt unsure about what would happen and so decided to reduce our quantities. Also, we have not done any wholesale, so the Paper Dolls collection is only available at Maiocchi.
