Meet the Models... Ruth xo

We celebrated our BLOOM Collection and all of the fabulous women who wear our frocks, with a little soiree at Lumiere Events.

We thought we'd introduce you to some of our most Marvelous Maiocchi Mavens, who took to the catwalk as our super models for the day.

We really are very lucky to be dressing some of the most clever, fabulous and fun ladies in all of the land.

Meet Ruth...
Retired from the corporate world, am a columnist for the online magazine She Society often referred to as Nanny Babe. Ruth works casually doing TV commercials, short movies, photographic work as there is a demand for the older naturally aging woman. She has many passions apart from her children and grandchildren -  writing, craft work such as jewellery making, knitting/crochet, sewing gardening, cooking. Fitness is important, she loves live theatre of any genre and movies. Pre-covid days Ruth travelled extensively around the world but appreciates what we have in Australia. She does her best to support local industry.

When did you buy your first Maiocchi dress?
About 4 years ago when my fellow writing friend Michelle introduced me to Maiocchi and I have never looked back.

Which is your fave dress from the BLOOM Collection?
The first one to catch my eye was the Penny Dress in green sketch.

What’s the best place or occasion you have worn a Maiocchi dress?
I am forever wearing my ‘go to’ blue ruffled maxi dress, it has appeared in one of my TV commercials for Ingenia Lifestyle and at a fashion parade for a retirement village. Love it as can dress it up or down.

What would you like to see Maiocchi feature on their upcoming prints? 
For summer white or other pale/pastel background in block colours small flowers such as daisies/Australian flora plus some metallic print in gold/silver. Winter similar for the darker block colours in earthy shades that represent Australia.
