meet our model employee... jody xo
we thought we'd introduce you to some of the fabulous women who make the magic happen at maiocchi and today we're pleased to introduce our fabulous stylist jody... if you have popped in to one of stores when jody is there, you would have heard her laughter before you even stepped in the door.
here jody tells us why she needs to self medicate!! and answers all the other tough questions...
what did you want to be when you grew up?
i wanted to be anything involved in fashion. i grew up watching my grandmother styling herself in red lippie and beads just to visit the corner shop.
how long have you been a maiocchi girl?
what is your role at maiocchi?
playing dress-ups with grown women and having fun, but most of all bringing confidence and sprinkle of style unique to each individual along with laughter.
what is your favourite thing about being part of the maiocchi family?
being part of something new, something that grows from hard work and commitment, drawing upon the strength and inspiration of dee.
what led you to maiocchi career or study wise?
what do you get up to when you’re not being a maiocchi girl?
i am a mother to five children that i inspire and nurture to be real and whole people... people who will make a difference and embrace individuality. for this i, as all mothers do, self-medicate.
what’s your favourite piece from the ‘pretty please’ collection?
every print and every colour in the jumpsuit and the ability to not be restricted so you can express your individuality.
what's your secret style tip?
best to impress yourself and not everyone else. with confidence you can transcend style and light up a room.
what's your fave place to eat in brissie?
libertine in paddington, a delightful fusion of french and asian cuisine. an explosion of flavor and culture, not to mention the french martinis!
ps: jody is wearing the 'crowd pleaser' jumpsuit in the black print - this has sold out but you can now get it in plain black here xo
