Maiocchi at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival 10 Year Anniversary

This year was a big celebration for Maiocchi and Brisbane Fashion. It was the 10th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival in Brisbane and it was also the 10th anniversary for Maiocchi! We have loved being in the show every year and were so honoured to be a part of Brisbane Fashion week.We absolutely loved the new location at the Brisbane Show Grounds, what a fantastic place to celebrate Brisbane Fashion and our amazing Brisbane designers.

Maiocchi showcased our Spring Collection called Roadtrip. This season was all about seas side adventures, lady like dressing and childhood dreams. We featured some of our great custom prints including the Roadtrip print in a flattering 1950’s cotton style, a retro shift dress and also in the versatile cotton skirt (perfect for work).

The highlight of the show would have to be our Mermaids are Real Dress, it’s the perfect Spring dress for garden parties, weddings and fashion events. We have also designed this quirky retro print and it comes in a silk 1950’s style dress.

Maiocchi was lucky enough to work with Each to Own again this year and Kristen created some absolutely stunning custom jewellery and really helped Maiocchi shine on the catwalk. We are looking forward to popping some of the quirky retro pieces online.
