Our new collection has landed, she's called Kasumi, and this one has been a long time coming.
It started in Japan
In April I went to Japan with my cousin Elisa and our three teenage boys.
Seeing the cherry blossoms in bloom has been a dream of mine for years, and we timed it just right.
We saw them at Mount Fuji.
There was a soft breeze blowing and the petals were raining down on us.
It was the most perfect day!
Kasumi means the 'soft spring haze' in Japanese. It felt like the perfect name for this collection.
The print
We worked with a textile designer to create this print from scratch.
It's been hand drawn especially for us, with all my favourite flowers in it, so it's a Japanese-inspired floral that's completely our own.
Have a proper look at it when you get a chance.
There's so much going on in there, and the colours are just gorgeous, and there's little wafts of spring breeze!
The styles
There are some lovely new shapes in this drop.
The Gion Dress is a new version of our bestselling Holiday Dress,
with a gathered tiered skirt and a little tie at each side that you can draw in and play with.
She's in a crisp cotton poplin, so she's cool to wear on the hot days, and she has pockets.
There's a black version too, with a section of the print appliqued across the bodice and stitched ribbon ties, which just might be my favourite thing we've made this year.
If you're more of a separates girl, the Gion Skirt is the same skirt on its own, with a flat waistband at the front and elastic at the back.
She also comes in plain black, and she'll go with everything.
The Cleo Dress is in a brand new fabric for us, a cotton spandex, with clever tucks and curved panels that shape the waist and a full skirt that loves to twirl. The Eleanor Dress (coming soon) is the showstopper - a true wrap with a delicate sparkle stripe running through her, and her own slip dress underneath.
The Beach Dress is another new one, made to throw straight over your togs, and she comes with her own matching drawstring bag for your snacks and sunblock! The Skipper Dress is our throw-on-and-go frock in a cool cotton linen.
Then there's the Holiday Tee, the Annabel Blouse with her mandarin collar and hidden buttons, and our Obi Reversible Belt - print on one side, plain black on the other, so she works with every frock you own.
And because we couldn't help ourselves, Kasumi is on the table too. Linen tablecloths and a tea towel, in very limited numbers.
Sizes
The whole collection runs from a size 6 to a size 22.
