Hello mavens, it's Dee here...

Can you believe this will be my 8th year frocking up for Frocktober?! Every October I pop on a frock a day (easy for me, since I basically live in frocks anyway!) to raise awareness and funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF).

I was inspired to get started by our very own fabulous maven, Sam - who’s in the Frocktober Hall of Fame AND has just been chosen as an official 2025 Frocker by the OCRF (including a photoshoot wearing Maiocchi's very own velvet blazer!!)

Seeing her passion and dedication to this cause made me want to step up and do my part too.

Ovarian cancer is the most lethal women’s cancer, with a 5-year survival rate of just 49%. That’s why this cause is so close to my heart. Each October, I wear a frock a day to raise funds for research that will help improve early detection, develop more effective treatments, and work towards prevention.
