With a 5 year survival rate of just 49%, Ovarian Cancer is the most lethal women’s cancer.
That’s why our founder Dee is passionate this cause and why, each October, she wears a dress a day to raise funds for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation,
supporting research aimed at improving detection methods, developing more effective treatments and seeking preventative measures for ovarian cancer.
Plus, you know how she loves a dress! and this is a fun way to raise awareness for this important cause.
All funds raised are donated directly to the OCRF, to fund potentially life-saving research ovarian cancer projects.

Dee here.
This will be my 7th year participating in Frocktober, and I’d love your help to raise funds for this important cause.
if you’ve been here for a while, you will know how much of a dress girl I am.
I hardly ever wear anything but dresses to be honest.
Unless I'm in activewear, I'm almost always in a Maiocchi frock. I don't even own a pair of jeans!
So frocking up is easy for me - the photo a day will be more of a challenge!!
But I would love it if you would frock up alongside me if you can, to donate to my page, or even just to follow along on my Instagram page and cheer me on!
How you can help…
- Submit a pic of you in your Maiocchi frock and post it in our Maiocchi Mavens Facebook group. All photo submissions will go in the draw each week to WIN a prize pack valued at $100 (drawn at the end of each week and announced in our Mavens Facebook group)
